Development of new paradigm 3D nanoprinting techniques

Our research focuses on the development of nanoscale 3D printing methods in terms of materials, resolution and throughput. (1) Materials. Establishing an additive manufacturing platform for functional materials at the nanoscale, including perovskites, MOF, peptide, diamond, etc. (2) Studying the fundamentals of 10 nm scale meniscus and droplet, establishing an additive manufacturing platform for chips. (3) Studying the cross-talk effect at nanoscale, establishing an wafer-scale nanoprinting platform.

Nanoscale 3D printing for optoelectronics

Semiconductor nanowire lasers are potential building blocks for fully integrated nanoscale optoelectronic devices due to their ultracompact physical size, highly localized coherent output, and efficient waveguides. We pioneers the nanoscale 3D printing of lasers, LEDs and other optoelectronic devices.

Micro/nanorobotics and wearable devices

Our current work focuses on the design and 3D printing of micro/nanorobotics as well as wearable devices to understand complex biological systems.
