Welcome to the Intelligent Transportation!

Smart Transportation for a Smarter Future

As one of the primary academic units of HKUST (GZ),INTR (Intelligent Transportation) is an integrative and innovative cross-disciplinary thrust under the Systems Hub. With a scope that covers land, air and maritime transportation,we aim to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of multi-modal transportation systems.

While INTR is built upon a solid foundation encompassing conventional transportation engineering theories and methodologies,it also ventures beyond traditions to embrace pioneerina, innovative and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science, intelligent computing and optimization. We are particularly committed to offering students a unique interdisciplinary learning experience, and developing cutting-edge research with a vision to not only improving the fundamentals of human societies but also engineering a better future. INTR will continue to convene internationally-renowned academic and industry experts to enhance and transform societies via intelligent transportation. On behalf of INTR,I’d like to personally invite you to join us on our exciting endeavors to build a bright future!
